thank you, it made me cry a lot in the good way. i felt in love with the sand planet, i went there.
Thank you so much to you for playing it!! Hearing that is the highest praise. I'm sure the sand planet felt accompanied :')
The sand planet was an interesting contrast to the hot planet and the shattered one. On the other planets, there's people to grieve, which makes the sadness make sense. But then on the sand planet, I'm sad too. It's not like anything's dying there, but it's still sad that something so beautiful doesn't exist anymore.
Hopefully that ramble isn't irritating haha. Great little game!
Not at all, it's great to hear your feelings about it!! It's a very interesting way of seeing it! I'm really glad this little story and world was able to make this impression on you. Thank you so much for playing Goodbye Tired Stars! :'D
this was such an amazing experience! short and beautiful little game, the art and music really make you feel immersed in the end of the universe man this was awesome
Thank you so much for playing it!! I'm especially happy that the music helped, since it was my first time composing proper background music. I'm glad you enjoyed it! :'D
I love this game! I really wish that more people made games like this. The art style is really nice, and the same goes for the music. The story is both really sad and yet oddly nice. The only flaw I could find with this little game is that it is not longer.
Thank you so much for playing it, and for the video too! Hearing this really means a ton!! (Friends of mine keep telling me to add more planets, so I'm really starting to wonder if I should... lol)
Beautiful story. I liked how poetic the story felt.
(Apologies for the late reply!) Thank you so much for playing, and for recording it too! :'D
This was very calming and..Idk..it was comforting somehow. Absolutely loved it.
(Sorry for the late reply!) Thank you so much for playing!! I'm really glad you liked it, and even more that you found it comforting :')
Teehee ! Youre welcome. I liked it !!
A beautiful and very relaxing experience... also loved the music
Thank you so much for playing it, and for the let's play too!! It was very entertaining to watch, it's always interesting to see the reactions of people as they play :') As a beginner composer, I'm especially happy to hear you enjoyed the music!
No problem, it was very fun.
I really liked the experience, the music is very calm and the story is deep! 10/10 :]
Thank you so much!! I'm really glad you enjoyed the experience. :'D
This game is very relaxing, has a beautiful theme, and the art style is gorgeous.
Thank you so much for playing!! I'm really glad, it really means a lot to hear this!
Hey! I'm a university student and alongside my buddies, we would like to translate your game into French, free of charge of course, that is if you accept our offer, of course :)
May I send you an email with all the other information? :)
Hello! Of course, I would be really glad to add a French translation! :')
(I assume the mail I got was from your team, but do correct me if it is not so!)
Hi, I'd like to volunteer to translate your game from English into Brazilian Portuguese.
Hello! Thank you so much for your kind offer!! I would be glad to accept. :')
When you can, feel free to contact me through the address at the bottom of the read me file! I can send you the script of the game there.
An interesting experience for sure, this game is a little gem. If you need an Italian translation I can help.
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you enjoyed it!!
I would be happy to accept your translation offer! Feel free to contact me through the mail at the bottom of the read me file when you can, I can send you the full script there. :')
Very cool, little experience. Had a great sense of atmosphere with the writing and the music.
Just wanted to report that curiously one of the points of interest on the planet with the black hole in the middle had japanese text despite me choosing english at the start.
Still had a great time with it :D
OH NO... I must have messed up when putting the text in the event. Thank you so much for the bug report!! I'll go fix it right away. (EDIT: it should be fixed now!)
Thank you so much for playing!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it despite the error :')
Yup, seems to be fixed now. Also, the Dev-Notes are a very cool idea. The game already reminded me of Outer Wilds with it's themes, so it was fun to read that you drew some inspiration from there.
hey um this rules??? 10/10 experience i love it.
if you are looking to add any more languages... i would very much like to do a japanese translation if that would be all right with you... |△・)ノ
(you can check my own itch page to see jpn translations i've done of my own works + translations for others if you'd like to check my skill level!)
Thank you so much!!! I'm really glad you enjoyed the experience! :'D
I would be very glad to accept the translation offer!! Where would be the best place to send you the script? (If you prefer, you can also contact me through the mail at the end of the read me file if it makes it easier to communicate!)
sorry about the delay! i'll email you shortly, you can send the materials that way.
when inspecting the "skeletons of tall spires" the game keeps looping over and over and prompting me to save each time? is this a bug?
So sorry for the issues!
I've never seen this happen before at all, so I'm not sure; the game isn't supposed to prompt to save at any point since it's so short (unless you open the menu to save manually).
Does it happen only with the spires? Are you pressing Z or X to pass the text? As soon as I can, I'll check the event to make sure it's working well!
yes, i'm pressing Z to progress the text, and the spires are the first place i've come upon where i encountered this problem
It's strange, I checked the event but there was nothing that could make it repeat or open the save menu... I plan on releasing an update later today, so I'd suggest redownloading then. I also recommend starting a new game just in case something in the save is affecting this (you can easily skip the text by keeping shift pressed to reach the part you were at).
Once again, I apologize for the trouble, and thank you very much for letting me know of this problem! I'll keep note of it in case it happens again with the incoming update.
😮
💙
Thank you!! :')
For such a short game it leaves a lasting impact! How many stars has our little collector witnessed!
Thank you so much!! I wonder how many... probably more than we can imagine! I wonder if they've ever seen Earth...?
This game was enough to impress me even in its short play time. The story is emotional and the aesthetic is beautiful. I really enjoyed this game!
By the way, can you check your Twitter DMs, please? I would like to get your permission to translate this game into Korean. My Twitter account is @lunapeusa. Thank you.
I'm really glad you enjoyed the game!! Thank you so much for playing :'D
And thank you for letting me know too, I'll go check right away! New messages always get buried in new message requests and don't show a notification, so I miss a lot of them ;;
The art was absolutely gorgeous! I chose the lone planet to stay on during the end. While it was a short game, I loved every second of it! I especially love the cosmic being we play as, holding onto the memories of the planets even as everything is getting wiped away.
Thank you so much!! I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed the game and the art!!
I made the Star Collector just for this story, but they grew on me a lot too :')
loved how exploring the planets was set up, everything about this was really beautiful, i chose the fragmented planet ^^
Thank you so much for playing!! That planet is my favorite too, I'm glad you liked it :'D
that such a tender take about memory and the cosmos, i loved the writing very much, thanks for the game <3
This game ended up having a lot of personal thoughts in it, so it really means a lot to hear that...!! Thanks to you for playing it!
I loved the poetry like story and the art :)
Thank you so much for playing and recording it!! I'm still a beginner writer, so it's really heartening to hear the writing is like poetry :')
I'm not an English speaker, so I played it while machine translating.
The end of the universe that I walked through with the COSMIC BEING was a bit of a lonely sight, but it gave me a haunting feeling.
I especially like to think back to the extinct civilization that doesn't even understand the language.
It was a wonderful experience!
Thank you so much for playing it, and for the gameplay video!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it even with the machine translation! I'm very happy that it gave you such a feeling!
I've been wondering about how that planet would have looked in the past... I'm sure they are glad to be remembered!
This game is short but very relaxing to be played. I choose the Soft Pebble of a
Lone Planet for a good place to stay because I love the soft colors, the mountains and the adorable little houses there. Thanks, DEV for making this game in English too. :-D Here is my 5 minutes+ gameplay. Enjoy~Thank you so much for playing it, and for the video too!! I'm really glad you liked it!! :')
Thank you DEV for your reply. Appreciate it. Good luck for your next project. :-D
A simple game but it has beautiful story, I love it. Keep up the good work ♡
Thank you so much for playing!! I'm really glad you enjoyed it :'D
Absolutely beautiful game... The gorgeous art and the heartfelt writing left me without words. I truly felt the peace in this being's heart as the cosmos ended. I chose the lonely planet, so that, at least in the end, it could have someone cherishing its beauty, even if it was just for a fleeting moment. Thank you for this wonderful game.
Thank you so much!!! As someone who is still insecure about writing, it's a great feeling to hear it was able to resonate with you like this. :') That's a very nice thought for the planet too! I'm sure it really appreciated it. Thank you so much for playing!!
